When Bill and Jennifer Yardy first started Kara Kar Trailers in 1962 they couldn't have imagined in their wildest dreams the huge success that the product would become.

In the mid 1960's Kara Kar became renowned Australia-wide for building the best float at the right price.

Kara Kar's invention of the angle load float added a new option for customers with horses that had difficulty travelling in a straight load trailer.

At the turn of the century Kara Kar relocated to Nambucca Heads (mid north coast NSW) in a modern manufacturing facility, tripling our production capability, and boosting employment and apprenticeship training opportunities in the area.

Bill and Jennifer look back now and are rightfully proud of what they achieved.

People talk about the "Hills Hoist" and the "Victa Lawn Mower" — well now you can add Kara Kar Trailers amongst those icons as a great Australian success story.
